Helsinki

We are open for exchanges in July 2024!

Our home is a terraced house on two floors. On the upper lever we have a kitchen, living room and an office with a single bed. Downstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with an electric sauna. We have a small backyard. Our bedrooms and our office can accommodate five adults.

Our neighborhood Pakila is in northern Helsinki and it is surrounded by nature and the Helsinki Central Park. Within walking distance we have cafeterias, two restaurants, supermarkets (S-Market and Lidl), kiosk with post office services, pharmacy, gym, health center, children's playground, gas station and a library. And just a few kilometres away there is a golf course and a swimming hall (indoor and outdoor pools).

While you are here in Helsinki and Finland, you can also make a short day visit to Estonia or Sweden. Ferries to Tallinn and Stockholm leave at Helsinki harbour.

Unfortunately we do not have the opportunity to offer you a car. Getting around in Helsinki is easy with public transport. Public transportation HSL (https://www.hsl.fi/en/travelling/visitors) is very efficient and takes you wherever you want to go. Tourists can buy single tickets and also day tickets (1-13 days) that gives you possibility for unlimited use in buses, trams, trains, metros and ferries in Helsinki. You can also rent a car for example from Helsinki-Vantaa airport or from the Central Railway Station in Helsinki.
