A quiet house located on the south coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea

We live at Fabrègues (12 km from Montpellier) in a very peacefull village in a house of 100 square-meter with 3 bedrooms, 1 dining room with separate kitchen, 1 mezzanine 1 sanitary and 1 bathroom. The house offers a swimming pool, an extensive green garden and a sun terrace. The street is a dead end. We are near the active, modern and sunny city of Montpellier, near the sea (15-20 minutes by car), mountains
(Lozere, Aubrac), Spain (2h00), the Camargue (60 min) with vast stretches of land and
water, Nîmes (30 min) the Roman city, Marseille and "la Cote d'Azur" (1h45), Avignon (1h30),
la Provence (30 min), Toulouse (2h30) the rose town, Barcelona (3h30).
Montpellier the city where the sun never sets !
This town is a cultural, scientific and artistic crossroads with a wealth of heritage. L'Ecusson,
with its Place de la Comédie, dominated by the opera house, stretches all the way to the new
Antigone quarter designed by Ricardo Bofill. The narrow streets, lined by 7th and
18th century mansions, lead to St Peter's cathedral, the western world's oldest medical school,
the Place Royale du Peyrou and the oldest botanical garden in France created during the reign of Henry IV (founded in 1593).
The main sights are also the Musee Fabre, some of medieval streets, the Saint Clement Aqueduct, built in the 18th century, a number of châteaux, so-called follies, built by wealthy merchants surround the city.
For the shopping, lovers of old stone and atmosphere will delight in the maze of mediaeval alleyways in Montpellier’s historic centre, the Ecusson, where antique shops, arts and crafts boutiques and the great names in luxury goods await them – while fans of a more futuristic, ultramodern feel can go along to explore Odysseum leisure and shopping complex with its some one-hundred shops, leisure activities and theme restaurants.
