Very quiet neighbourhood, located nearby natural and historical (roman ruins) preserved areas. 15 min trip to Tarragona (historical city) and Port Aventura (amusement park). About 1 hour trip to Barcelona.
House: Sea views from our front garden, porch, and living room. The roof of the house is a terrace with really nice views (including the sea, the old town + castle). Kitchen integrated in the living room & newly refurnished (and new electrical appliances). 1 small bathroom (with shower). 2 bedrooms: 1 double bed, 1 with two bunk-beds. No telephone but good mobile network coverage. (Satellite) Wifi included. Air-conditioning and heating. Back terrace equipped with a trunk that contains 2 adult bicycles (1 male, 1 female).

Very quiet neighbourhood. Bus to Torredembarra. Altafulla Train station at a walking distance. Closed parking area included with the house. Barcelona's airport at 70km. The house is located just behind the Roman villa of Els Munts (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). We found the little house exactly as described. The host family left very helpful and beautifully drawn notes. Altogether we felt very welcome and at home. They also had much patience with us as this was our first exchange. And they helped us a lot. 100% recommend :-)
The house was nice and well-described, however, the family misused our air conditioning system and, as a consequence, our parquet flooring was damaged. The family did not mention it to us (we just discovered it upon returning). Our insurance did not cover the repair costs and, when informed, the family offered no help. It has been a very unpleasant process.
Very kind and respectful family, the house was clearly described on the site and before the interchange, the host provided all the details about the house.
