Our house is an ancient  mill, on a nice and clear river, in a small village (1500 hab) : it is a very quiet place,  surrounded by a large garden and wooded lands (2 ha), but close to the village (5 minutes walking from the post office, the grocery , etc).
the house (300 m2) has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms,  and 3 large living-rooms, and  all the comfort; it has just been renovated,  so everything is in perfect running order - and having kept old aspects.
We can also organize some non simultaneous exchanges, as we have a small house in one wing of our house, totally independant, and that suits for 2 or 3 persons (one bedroom at the floor, one bed in the living room at the groundfloor, a kitchen and a large bathroom)

Many natural and cultural attractions can be seen around (Chambord is at 15 minutes driving, not to speak of Amboise, Chenonceaux, and all the Loire Valley castles ; many sports can be practiced not far – canoe on Loire river, bicycle, golf, swimming pools) .

Paris is also very easy to reach for one day visit (1h45 by direct train or by car - around 8 trains a day – railway station at 5 kms ); Blois is at 12kms, Orléans is at 40 kms and Tours at 60 kms, those 3 towns having many cultural and patrimonial attractions

We are a family of 4 persons: François was an art teacher(now retired), and is still painting, I am in charge of the European cooperations in a forestry institute, and we have 2 children, Valentine (22 years old), and Felix (17 years old), who come with us sometimes with their friends.
We have also 2 female cats, easy to live with, that by advance we thank you to care of - during summer it is very often in the garden, and just come back to have meal.

One car is available for our hosts.
We appreciate the charm and atmosphere of the houses and apartments we exchange with, and are very respectful. Our mill is very spacious, it offers many resources for children (play ground, river, large garden ..) teenagers (computer, tablet, DVD ..) and adults (many books ..).
4 bikes are available in the barn with games of bocce and badminton
