My wife carol and I are lecturers in a local further education college, she in EFL and I in social science / care. We have two well behaved children, Mhairi 15 and Douglas 13, therefore our house is relatively child friendly. Our flat is large, of the Georgian era with many original features such as fire places, cornicing, basement terrace and generally lots of space.
At the moment it is set out with 2 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms and one large office with fold down double bed and patio door. The living room also has a double sofa bed if necessary. The kitchen is large, modern and well equipped. The upstairs bathroom has a shower and the down stairs bathroom has a bath. Central heating keeps the house very warm in winter but we can't resist lighting the open fire in the living room at the weekend which provides an excellent cosy atmosphere!
