Welcome to Kilkenny! www.kilkennytourism.ie Our home is 8km from Kilkenny just off the N78 on a quiet road in peaceful countryside. A comfortable 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with all modern conveniences. Large private gardens are secure and safe for children to play. Our home is on an elevated site with lovely views of the countryside and the city lights at night. We live 1km from Dunmore caves. Nearby there are walks in Jenkinstown woods and at Kilkenny castle .www.kilkennycastle.ie In Castlecomer (8km) there are wood land walks, a children's playground, zip wires, lakes for fishing and boating and a coal-mining heritage centre. www.discoverypark.ie.

Kilkenny is renowned for art and craft www.madeinkilkenny and is the home of the "National design and Craft Gallery ",

Kilkenny is the home of hurling ,Irelands national sport ,a visit to a game is a unique experience!!
