From our house it takes you 20 min. to the city centre by public transportation and it takes you a walk of 20 min. to forests and hills. The home of Arnold Schwarzenegger is reachable in 30 min. by bike. Graz is a very mediterranean city with lots of cultural events in summer. Many of them are outdoor in special places like castels etc. A beautiful public swimming pool is very close but also a lake where you can do surfing, diving, waterskiing and of course swimming. A large shopping mall offers several stores in a distance of 10 minutes by foot. The capital of Austria - Vienna - is two hours away from Graz. Salzburg can be reached by a three hour drive.
