Hello Intervac- friends,
You’re most welcome to visit Vaasa – the sunniest city of Finland. We are looking forward to a 2-4 week exchange during our summer holidays. All possibilities of exchange are very interesting to us. Please don’t hesitate to take contact if you find some interest in our beautiful city in the western Finland
Our house is located in a quiet neighbourhood about 7 km from the centre of Vaasa. It has plenty of room for accommodating even larger families, and the big garden (2400 m2) is suitable for all kinds of summer activities. Feel free to use our car for travelling around during your stay. A big shopping-centre (Prisma) is only 1,8 km away.
The house is not luxurious but it is cosy. We have all the modern facilities – internet, washer, dishwasher etc. – at your service.
Vaasa is a coastal city of 65 000 inhabitants. Around the city itself we have lots of cultural interests and summer activities. For the nature lover we have the unique Kvarken archipelago which was selected to the Unesco’s world heritage list as the first natural heritage of Finland.
We also have only four hour’s inexpensive ferry trip to Sweden if you want to have a quick look to the other side of the Gulf of Bothnia.
