Welcome to our four room flat in the centre of Stockholm
We live in the central parts of Stockholm (Södermalm), in a calm area near the lake Mälaren and a big park called Tantolunden. Behind our house there´s a garden-like area with an outdoor grill. There are also several playgrounds in the neighbourhood, a small public beach and a big public outdoor swimming pool (Eriksdalsbadet).
It is only 200 meters to the busstop for bus 55, that will take you towards the city centre. The commuter train station is 800 m away and the next stop is Stockholm city. The nearest underground station (Zinkensdamm) is 1,5 km away.
The living room and the main sleeping room are headed to the south and have a view over the lake Mälaren and the southern suburbs. The flat is situated in the 8:th floor (there´s a big elevator) and has wifi.
Living room: big sofa, tv, dinner table and balcony. The sofa can serve as an extra bed for two persons (80x200 times 2).
Kitchen: dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee mashines and all the equipment you need.
Main sleeping room: a comfortable double bed (180 x 200)
Sleeping room 2: a bunk bed (90x200), writing table, a drum set.
Sleeping room 3: a sofabed (80/160 x 200), writing table and an electrical piano
Bathroom 1: WC, basin, shower and bathtub
Bathroom 2: WC, basin
Laundry: there is a shared laundry room on the ground floor by the elevator, very well equipped. We don´t have a laundry machine in the flat.

About the neighborhood
The flat is situated in a calm area near one of the biggest parks in Stockholm (Tantolunden) and it´s just 100 meters from nice walks along the lake Mälaren. Just below our house there's a bathing jetty. There are lots of playgrounds in the immediate vicinity, and behind our house there´s a garden-like area with an outdoor grill. About 1,5 km away you´ll find a very popular little beach and it´s 200 meters to the bus that takes you into the city centre.

We stayed in Stockholm at Peter's and Marielle's flat for two weeks and really enjoyed ourselves. The flat is beautiful, spacious, modern and bright and the view is breathtaking. Stockholm and the surroundings can easily be visited by public transport from Söder station, which is not far away. Peter and Marielle were friendly, generous and welcoming. We highly recommend them and their place!
Friendly family, easy contacts, everything was ready at home to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Their apartment was as advertised.

Une famille très sympathique avec une communication très facile. Ils ont tout fait pour nous arranger et faciliter notre accueil chez eux. Leur appartement est très agréable et bien situé dans un endroit calme mais facile d'accès depuis le centre de Stockholm. On recommande 😊

We are a family of four (two adults and two children), interested in both cultural and sporty activities. Peter works as a secondary school teacher in the centre of Stockholm, Marielle is working at an insurance company with business and IT development but have a background as musician and music teacher. Our son Carl likes to play football, ice-hockey and to play the violine. Our daughter Gertrude plays the piano and she loves horses and riding.
