Waterford, Ireland

Spacious family home with private enclosed garden. Our home is walking distance to the centre of the oldest city in Ireland. The location is excellent, only 15 mins dive to the coast and 30 minutes drive to the Comeragh mountains.
Our house is between the city and Ardkeen so there are shops, supermarkets and restaurants all within walking distance. The park is 500m away. The area has schools and sports clubs close by and during the summer there are many summer camps and language camps available for children and teenagers.
The Greenway is a cycle way from Waterford to Dungarvan ((46km) which is a lovely day out. We have adult and children's bikes available and a cycle rack for the car to make the most of this great amenity.
The sea is 15 minutes with loads of surfing and swimming in Tramore. Dunmore East has sailing and Dunmore adventure centre with loads of activities. The Comeragh mountains are 30 mins away which is good for hiking, long walks and picnics.
Waterford City has lots of history as the oldest city in Ireland. Reginald's Tower, the Medieval Museum, The Bishops Palace all in the Viking triangle will give a good flavour of times past.
There are many interesting towns, villages, houses and gardens in Waterford, Kilkenny and Wexford which are all under an hour away .
Cork airport is the closest but Dublin airport is under 2 hours drive away and there is a good bus and rail service from Waterford to Dublin and the airport.
Just to be clear when we say city, Wateford is really a large town so it is not too big and it is a friendly place to live.
