House in the north of Norway in spectacular surroundings
My second house (see NO50635 for primary house) is in the north of Norway in Gildeskål, south of Bodø.
It is surrounded by steep mountains and a great beach towards the sea. In the summer the Midnight sun and from August through March northern lights can be seen. Amazing rockformations at Lakho national park (48km) and the wonderful Engabreen Glacier (63km). Two kayaks are available for nice adventures and a Subaru Forester 4wd for getting around. Birds and animals are plenty and scenery for photographs everywhere.
