Very nice apartment in central PARIS, France

My home is located in a very lively and convenient area of central Paris, a little to the south of Montparnasse Tower, the city's only skyscraper.
The apartment, on the 3rd (Am: 4th) floor of an 8-storied building (with an elevator), is bright and quiet.
Around the entrance hall, it includes:
- a large and sunny sitting and dining room in the front of the building, with a large-screen TV, DVD/BluRay reader and lots of DVDs, and a 5m2 balcony;
- two bedrooms (each with a double bed, one with a wash basin) giving onto a quiet backyard;
- a fully equipped kitchen (electric cooker with induction hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, etc.) where four people can easily have their meals,
- a bathroom (with full bath and shower) and a separate toilet.

 A short walk away (600 m, i.e. less than ten minutes), the lively district of Montparnasse, once famous for its many artists (see the picture of a former artist's studio in front of my apartment), has plenty of cafés, restaurants, cinemas (20 screens), 5 theatres, shops and stores of all kinds.
From the terrace on the 56th floor of Montparnasse Tower you'll have the most stunning views over Paris all round.
Apart from various supermarkets in the neighborhood, rue Daguerre (5 minutes away on foot) is one of the best places in Paris for fresh food and delicatessen shops. 10 mn away, a splendid food street market takes place twice a week.
Nearby public transport lines take you directly to many places of interest, e.g:
Underground:
- "métro" line 13:  to the Champs-Elysées and, beyond, to Paris major department stores;
- métro" line 4 to the Latin Quarter and Notre-Dame cathedral;
- RER line B: also to the Latin Quarter, Chatelet-Les Halles (a large shopping and recreational complex) and Pompidou Art Centre.
Buses:
- line 28 to the Champ-de-Mars (the Eiffel Tower);
- line 58 to the Louvre museum...
An exchange of cars would be possible if you wished to drive outside Paris and I didn't need mine to reach your home and go about the surroundings. My car is parked in my private lock-up garage in the backyard.

I have already happily enjoyed over 20 successful home exchanges in Europe, the USA and Australia through INTERVAC.
I usally look for 1-3 weeks exchanges, depending on the location and time of the year.
I hope you may be interested in this proposition. If so, please feel free to ask for more details.
Best regards
Claude Ameline
