About Our Family
We are a large blended family with 6 adult children located all over the mainland US and Hawaii. My husband is retired special ed teacher and I work part time. We are ready for a great adventure and look forward to establishing a home exchange for fall and winter. Washington is a beautiful state you will find a wide variety of activities. We have kayaks for your use to spend time exploring puget sound, clam digging and crabbing are especially great in the fall. Leavenworth is a 3 hour drive from Olympia and we enjoy spending time in the German themed Christmas town. Simply beautiful.
Lifestyle
We love the outdoors, camping, hiking, kayaking and boating during the summer is plentiful. We are an hour from Seattle for quick day trip to the Pike's Place market, opera, theatre and find dining. Olympia has small town amenities and the state capital provides fine dining options. No traffic hassles in town. Capital lake and local hiking trails, puget sound and state parks offer exploring opportunities, Mount Rainer is an hour away and spectacular.
