Sunny and welcoming family flat close to tube and nature reserve in summer city
Our flat is homely, a bit artisitc, compact living. It is sunny with a lot of potplants. We have a cat, which we will arrange for to be elsewhere while you visit.
One bedroom has a loft bed for 2 people, a desk space for grown ups and a playing area for our youngest daughter (soon 5). The other bedroom has a single bed (also loft bed) and is normally used by our 7 year old.
In the living room, there is a king size bed behind a curtain, but also a sofa and tv. This room is where we, the parents, sleep. We have a bathroom with bathtub and shower. The kichen can comfortably house 6 peolpe around the table, but if you wish you might have guests over and can fit around 10. There is no lift in the house, but it is only 1 1/2 set of stairs to ascend.
Bikes is one of our passions and you will have a possibility to borrow any of our bikes, we have about 4 adult bikes and 2 childrens bikes. Outside, there is a shared garden with a tiny playground, a shared barbeque and a table for breakfasts and dinners.

About the neighborhood
Our flat lies in a friendly neighbourhood with shops, library, a few restaurants and tube station just a few hundred meters away. People here are very welcoming and the surroundings are great for kids. If you like nature, this is a great spot to be. There is a large nature reserve within a kilometers walk. There you can find walking, trail running, mtb and bike paths. Lakes great for swimming. Possibilities to camp. If you bike 10 km, you ll reach the sea, where it is also free to put up your tent.
To Stockholm city center, it is just 15 m by tube, or 30 min by bike.
Stockholm city is very beautifull with lots of water and green areas. There are a lot of places to swim within the city, and you will notice that the water is clean enough. What is great about Sweden is "Allemansrätten" which gives anyone right to be in the nature, also privatly owned areas. You can even put up your tent for a couple of nights as long as it is not in sight of someones house. The only thing you have to do in return is to take care of nature, bring your trash with you, only put up a fire at allocated places etc. Stockholm is also a vibrant yet small capital (2 million inhabitatants), with museums, restaurants, music etc. Shopping is good, and Stockholm is known for having quite a lot of trendy, stylish design and fashion. We have both grown up here and are happy to give you tips on either the underground scene, culture establishments, bike paths or restaurants, or anything fun to do with kids. However, our best tip in the summer is just to use the long light summer nights, bringing a pizza to a hill overlooking the water and Stockholm city center before a stop at a playground or a bar depending on your likings.

Open and low brow artist family loving nature, drawing and biking
We live a normal, busylife with two kids, going to school, preschool and activities. We, the grown ups, works with art, design and bikes. We have a car, but prefer to bike, walk or going by train or tube if we can. We love going to museums, hang around in the city or to go swimming in any lake nearby in the summer.
