Dublin - Close to the City Centre in the Northside Suburb of Cabra
If you would like an exchange with a Dublin House, get in touch.
Because of the wretched Covid-19 virus, travel outside Ireland seems ruled out for many months at least. An exchange within Ireland would be great!
I am open to offers for short weekend city-break exchanges (3-5 days) in 2020 and 2021 - or a short exchange that could last less than one week.
if you like to plan in advance, there's no harm in floating proposals that might not come to fruition till next year.
The house has all mod cons: Gas Cooker, Fridge and Freezer, Dishwasher and Washing Machine, TV and Radio (local Irish Stations plus Free-to-Air Satellite Stations), Android TV, DVD Player, always-on WiFi (including access to a Wi-Fi enabled Smart TV), Netflix Movies, and so on.
The kitchen leads via an archway into a living-room, followed by a downstairs toilet-shower.
There is also a toilet with a shower upstairs.
There are two bedrooms and a study (which can also be used as a bedroom).
Access to the city centre is simple via public transport (bus, tram and train). A trip to the Dublin City centre takes about 20 minutes. A LUAS tram line between Cabra and Dublin City opened in December 2017. The Broombridge Terminus is a 10-15 minute walk from 236 Carnlough Road.
Carnlough Road is in Cabra – a Northside suburb close to the Dublin City Centre with good public transport links.

Wikipedia Description of Cabra and a Brief History

I am a public transport user – buses, trains and trams – and commute most days to the city centre – the journey time varies from fifteen to twenty minutes depending on the traffic.
Local shops are a short walk around the corner – nothing too fancy but the prices are reasonable by Dublin standards.
Dublin is a city of contrasts – I recommend new visitors take a trip on the 46A bus from start to finish – it begins on the North Side of the city in Infirmary Road beside the huge Phoenix Park (home to the Zoo) and finishes on the South Side in the old port town of Dún Laoghaire. In between you travel through a good cross-section of the city.

If you decide to visit there will be a warm welcome!
