As mentioned above we kept in touch before and during our exchange, asking and giving advice etc. It was particularly helpful when we both had car issues and we could help each other get things sorted out in a timely fashion. When we arrived back we found our home as we had left it which is always appreciated. Our kitty seemed to have enjoyed their company too.
