Masseria near Martina Franca, Italy
Our house is a XVIII century farm site at 250 mt on the sea level in the south Murgia, between Taranto (15 km south) and Martina Franca (20 km north).
The masseria is a holyday house, and the exchanges may be not contemporary.
The home, recently restored, is composed by living-room, drawing room, kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom at ground floor, and two double bedroom and bathroom, with panoramic terrace, at first floor.Within the wall there is a garden and a large court (it was a fortified farm ). Around, there is a 13 hectares estate of olive-orchard and macchia mediterranea. Some of the best beaches of south Puglia are at 20 min of car.
It's an ideal place for complete relax or, if you prefer, for many tours to see the most interesting areas of Puglia. In the neighbourood there are the archeological areas of Taranto, Martina Franca, Alberobello and the Trulli, Castellana’s graves, the throglodite’s churches of Mottola and Massafra.
Easy tours leads to Lecce and the Salento, Castel del Monte and the area of Romanico Pugliese, Matera and the Sassi, and at 50 km there are some golf-greens, 18 holes.

natural beauties:our sea, sandy on west coast of Golfo di Taranto and sandy and rochy on east coast (our preferred), the macchia mediterranea and olive trees, the spectacular "gravina's" landscape (carsic canyons with throglodytical settlements)
archaeologic beuties, with Magnagraecia monuments and collctions of jewels of MARTA museum of Taranto,
the throglodytical medioeval settlements of Matera, and the basilian churches with frescoes of Massafra e Mottola
the valle d'itria, with Alberobello's Trulli and the splendid Martina Franca'sbarocco
the romanic churches of Trani, Bari, Bitonto with Castel del Monte
