Brussels, Belgium

Our house (built in 2004) is located in the green outskirts of Brussels. You can reach the city center by bike or public transport in 15 min. There's a subwaystation 1km and busstops only 100 m from our frontdoor.
We've got three sons and one daughter. Dounia is a cultural worker, Filip is an architect and works at home.
Our house has got a nice garden (9mx18m) facing South-West with two terrasses. On the ground level, next to the living space (with a nice void) and the kitchen is a lovely terrace (3mx9m).
On the first floor is the office (free wifi available and bluetooth music), the library and a very cosy corner with TV and fireplace.
On the second floor we've got three large bedrooms. One for the parents with electric adjustable double bed (180cm) and two large play- and bedrooms for the children. Each large room of the children has great mezzanine for sleeping with 2 double beds (160cm). So in total we have 5 double beds (= 10 persons). On this floor there are also two bathrooms with raindance showers!
When we built the house, we tried to make a big open space with plenty of daylight. It's nice living here.
The neighbourhood is quiet. When you go to the left you'll be in rural Flanders in less then 10 minutes, where you can have wonderful walks and bike tours (there are 6 bikes available). When you go right you'll be in the Brussels city center in less then 15 minutes.
The closest subway stop is Koning Boudewijn, 1 Km away. That's the place where the big football stadium is. Next to the stadium there's Brupark where you can find Belgium's biggest movietheater, mini-Europe, the famous Atomium and restaurants.
Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges are less then an hour away, Paris, London and Amsterdam are less then 2 hours away by high speed train.
