There are lots of amenities, shops, cafes, bars, galleries, parks and many Medieval sites including Kilkenny castle and Park which is 10 minutes walk away. The house is a 4 bed detached bungalow. It was renovated to a very high standard in 2013. There is gas fired central heating and a solid fuel stove. There is 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suite. A large master bedroom with a king sized bed , 2nd room has a small double bed , The third room is a child’s room with two beds ( suitable for children) and the forth room has an adult size single bed . There is a large open plan, kitchen, dinning and sitting room. Which opens out onto the back garden. There are swings, a trampoline and a climbing frame in the garden. There is off street parking. IE1012527We very much enjoyed David's home. A fantastic place to visit and perfect for a family.
County Mayo, Ireland
IE1012897David and his family were very welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions. The house was even better in reality than in the photos and is perfect for any family with young children. The house is located in a safe quiet street within walking distance to some shops and to the local swimming pool. Our home was well looked after and we would be happy to exchange again!

IE1016797David and Emma were wonderful exchangers, whom we were lucky enough to meet up with at the end of our exchange. We had a wonderful time in their beautful house on the outskirts of Kilkenny, with great access to the city centre, local ameneties and the many attractions and activities in the area. The description of their home was spot on and I would highly recommend them as exchange partners

NL6514We had a great exchange with the Kennedy family from Kilkenny. Their home is very convenient. Kilkenny is a beautiful historical city in the south of Ireland and a good spot to explore the area. Emma and David were very helpful in helping us out with (touristical) info from the local perspective. It was a wonderful experience and we fell in love with Ireland. We'll be back.
